Keyword Research Services – I’m Testing The Instacash Keyword Service, Follow Me While I Test
Are you like me and struggle with keyword research? Finding keywords isn’t actually the problem. I have a problem finding good ones.
I thought the data from Google’s keyword tool was always bang on. A big company like that wouldn’t give false results, would they? Turns out they do and they don’t.
What you see (the data) is not what you get. But it probably was at the time they put it together. I discovered the answer almost by pure chance.
I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. I was pretty confident I could get a result from that. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.
It didn’t take long to notice there were now over 9000 competing sites. I was downhearted at this new revelation. Maybe it was going to be far more difficult than I imagined. A bit more investigating turned up my own articles on loads of these new competing sites.
The point I’m trying to get across is that had I looked at the keyword with 9000 competitors, I would have left it alone. A lot of these sites were ranking with my article so I had a lot of competition but most of it was my own articles. A good result all round in my opinion.
I decided now to try a keyword research service as I couldn’t keep relying on luck. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. I did a few calculations and came to the conclusion that research services, though not cheap, were value for my dollar.
I chose to give Travis Sago’s Instacash keyword service a go. Travis is the original bum marketer. Bum marketing only costs my time so it’s my kind of marketing.
It takes me an hour or two to come up with a couple of decent keywords. Getting them delivered is a huge help. An hour or two of my time is highly valuable to me when all I have is time. Put that couples hours saved against the daily cost and it adds up to value.
Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. I see this as an outsourcing project. I’m outsourcing my keyword research to a professional service.
